When we feel emotionally overwhelmed, unsafe, or invisible, we often find ways to cope that help us feel in control, even temporarily. Food, restriction, bingeing, compulsive habits, or substance use can become strategies to regulate what feels unmanageable inside.
But over time, these strategies may start to create their own kind of suffering.
At ReselfMe Therapy, I offer a space to explore these behaviours with compassion, curiosity, and depth.
Not as symptoms to be controlled, but as expressions of something meaningful—something that may have never had the safety or space to be fully understood.
